 It’s time for us to bear witness and shine the light on their backroom deals and policy violence the NC General Assembly while they are in session.

 

Join us for a Witness Wednesday at the People’s House on June 12, 2024 at 11:00am. We will gather and rally at the new North Carolina Freedom Park, at the corner of Wilmington and Lane Streets (218 N. Wilmington Street) and then process over to the General Assembly.

Join a historic assembly of impacted poor and low-wage workers, representatives from over thirty state coordinating committees, leaders from major religious organizations and denominations, labor unions, and other advocates as we kick off four months of outreach to 15 million poor and low-wage infrequent voters.

Seats on the bus are free

 

Pick-up times will be late Friday evening, June 28th, or early Saturday morning, June 29th, depending on the location of your stop.  The buses will begin the return trip on Saturday, June 29th - no overnight stays in DC are required.
