Sermon Series:

Living the Mission

The mission of the church is not confined to its walls but is lived out through active, relational engagement in the world. Jesus’ call to “go and make disciples” is an invitation to model a life rooted in love, justice, and compassion, meeting people where they are and inspiring them to join a transformative community of hope and grace. This mission requires us to embody God’s values through our actions, relationships, and humility, trusting in God’s constant presence as we step boldly into the world.

This Advent season, join us at St. John’s MCC as we reflect on the powerful themes of Justice, Hope, Love, Peace, and Joy—a journey of renewal, belonging, and celebration. Each week, we’ll explore how these timeless values can transform our lives and our world. Together, we’ll prepare our hearts for the hope of Christmas, culminating in a meaningful Christmas Eve service. Wherever you are on your journey, there’s a place for you here this season.
