December 2023 Giving Campaign to Support the Ministries of St. John’s MCC

As the holiday season approaches and temperatures drop, we are reaching out to you with a heartfelt request to support the Bryant Center. We have a goal to raise $15,000 for the shelter this month.

During the coldest nights at the end of November, the Bryant Center opened its doors to 248 women and men who might otherwise have been in harm’s way due to the cold. We have seen these numbers continuing to rise. Today we are serving nearly 100 people more than we had planned for. Each of these numbers is a person that we are helping to find safe space, to find hope, and compassion. We need your help!

While the Drop-In Shelter and the White Flag Emergency Shelter programs ARE specially funded by Wake County and the City of Raleigh, those grants do not meet all the needs we fund … especially with the increased amount of people seeking help. Your gift toward supporting our critical needs and operations in December 2023 will ensure we stay here to adequately support our marginalized communities here in Raleigh.

Please consider giving a one-time or recurring gift in any amount to our Shelter Fund. Please tap on the button below. Will you please give today?
